The Marantz model 1040 is a solid state integrated amplifier incorporating the advanced innovative design and unparalleled technology that have made Marantz famous in the audio component industry.

The model 1040 features a low distortion preamplifier and power amplifier, detented slide tone and balance controls, provisions for two pairs of speakers for ambience, and provision for two tape decks for making tape to tape copies.

This was a standard restoration with new capacitors, filter caps, transistors, diodes, and deox’d pots. standard calibration to spec. custom pedal pimp Banana plug conversion to speaker input jacks.
