Marantz 104 Tuner
(1976-1978)

The Marantz 104 is a classic analog FM/AM tuner that exemplifies the elegant design and high-quality performance Marantz was known for during the golden age of hi-fi in the 1970s. With its distinctive champagne-colored faceplate, blue dial illumination, and smooth, weighted tuning action, the 104 brought both style and substance to any vintage audio setup. Though more modest in features compared to Marantz’s higher-end tuners, the 104 delivered impressively clean and sensitive FM reception, thanks to its precise tuning circuitry and solid build quality. It remains a favorite among collectors and enthusiasts who appreciate its warm sound, timeless aesthetics, and the tactile experience of analog radio at its finest.

This was a standard recap restoration with new transistors where some were problematic. new velum and new lamps were installed and the tuner was realigned and calibrated.
